NatrixOne™ Frozen Watermelon Dog Treats

How often do you keep fruit until it is over ripe? If you are like us, having a way to use your fruit before it goes bad is a great way to reduce waste AND keep your dog cool this summer.
NatrixOne Frozen Watermelon Dog Treats
Ingredients:
½ whole watermelon cubed
½ cup cool water
½ cup Grandma Lucy’s Macanna Pre-Mix
1/3 cup warm Goat’s milk (Sub warm water)
2 pumps NatrixOne Camelina Oil dog supplement
Watermelon Puree:
Using a food processor blend the watermelon with ½ cup cool water into a smooth puree.
Using a spoon fill the treat molds ½ way with the watermelon puree.
Grandma Lucy’s Macanna Pre-Mix:
Whisk ½ cup Macanna Pre-Mix with a warm liquid of your choice. We used warm water but you can use warm goat’s milk for a creamier treat.
Add 2 pumps of NatrixOne Camelina Oil into the mix for added nutrients. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Fill the treat molds to the top with the Macanna Pre-Mix blend.
Freeze for at least 4 hours. Enjoy on a hot summer day!
